General steel with good corrosion resistance and high mechanical property and thermal conductivity; it has good rust resistance in atmosphere and steam, but has worse rust resistance in medium containing much chloridion.

The steel is mainly used in manufacturing nitric-acid and nitramine equipment, such as absorption tower, exchanger, storage tank, etc.

The steel is mainly used for manufacturing internal decoration of building, office equipment, kitchenware, decoration of automobile, gas burner, etc. But, it is not appropriate to make equipment and parts bearing load below room temperature and the steel's section thickness can’t exceed 4mm as the steel's brittle transition temperature is above room temperature and it has notch sensitivity.
